4:03 a.M. NST Tuesday 6 January 2009.
A low pressure system near Groswater Bay will drift into the Labrador
Sea today and dissipate. Northeasterly gales over northern waters
will diminish as this low weakens.
Another low pressure system is forecast to form east of the Belle
Isle Bank tonight and deepen while moving into the east Labrador Sea
on Wednesday. North to northeasterly gales will develop to the north
of this low on Wednesday while westerly gales will develop over most
remaining waters.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except lake Melville and east Labrador Sea - southern half.
A freezing spray warning is in effect for south Labrador coast.
