Synopsis For Baffin Bay To Rio Grande Out 60 Nm-

Synopsis

Light to moderate north winds will continue to produce moderate seas across the Lower Texas Bay and Gulf waters this afternoon and evening in the wake of a cold front that moved through the region last night. Surface high pressure will build over the area through this week resulting in the surface flow shifting around to a more southerly direction after Wednesday. Another strong cold front will move across the region this Saturday resulting in a return of stronger northerly surface winds and possible Small Craft Advisory conditions.

Tonight North winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Patchy fog through the night. Slight chance of rain and drizzle late in the evening. Chance of rain and drizzle after midnight.
Tuesday Northwest winds around 15 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms in the morning...then slight chance of showers in the afternoon.
Tuesday Night Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas 1 to 3 feet.
Wednesday Northwest winds around 15 knots diminishing to 5 to 10 knots late in the morning...then becoming light early in the afternoon becoming south 5 to 10 knots late in the afternoon. Seas 1 to 3 feet.
Wednesday Night South winds around 15 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.
Thursday South winds around 15 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.
Friday South winds around 15 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet building to 6 to 10 feet. Slight chance of showers.
Saturday Light winds becoming northeast 15 to 20 knots in the afternoon and evening...then increasing to around 20 knots after midnight. Seas 9 to 11 feet subsiding to 4 to 6 feet. Slight chance of showers.
