Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters
Strong offshore flow late this morning will gradually diminish through the late afternoon to early evening hours. Moderate northeasterly flow tonight will gradually increase once again Friday as a coastal trough develops along the Lower Texas coast. There will be a chance of light rain Friday in response to the strengthening coastal trough...mainly south of Port Aransas. Winds and seas will subside by Saturday as the center of high pressure moves into south Texas. A surge of surface high pressure Sunday will result in moderate northeast flow. However...onshore flow will become established again late Sunday into Monday...as a surface low pressure system develops near the Texas Panhandle.
