Synopsis
Southerly winds will increase through the day as a cold front approaches. The cold front will cross the marine area overnight with strong south winds in advance of the front becoming strong westerly after frontal passage. Seas building to between 8 and 12 feet overnight and continuing through Wednesday. Thunderstorms in advance of the front mostly this afternoon and tonight...with squalls up to or above gale force at times. High pressure builds over the north central Gulf through the end of the week. Northerly winds and seas will build late Saturday as another cold front moves south over the marine area.
