...High surf advisory in effect for east facing shores...
Surf along east facing shores will decrease to heights of 3 to 7
feet on Tuesday.
Surf along north facing shores will be increase to heights of 10 to
14 feet on Tuesday.
Surf along west facing increase to heights of 6 to 10 feet on
Tuesday.
Surf along south facing shores will be 1 to 3 feet through Tuesday.
Outlook through Sunday Jan 11:
the trade wind surf on the east facing shores will continue to
slowly taper off through the week. A west northwest swell arriving
Tuesday will continue to build on Wednesday and peak Wednesday
afternoon...producing near advisory level surf on the north facing
shores late Tuesday through late Wednesday.
Surf heights are forecast heights of the face or front of waves. The
surf forecast is based on the significant wave height in the zone of
maximum refraction. Some waves may be more than twice as high as the
significant wave height. Expect to encounter rip currents in or near
any surf zone.

300 PM when pat Caldwell is available. When pat Caldwell is not
available...the latest collaborative forecast will remain posted for
4 days.
This collaborative forecast will resume on January 12.
