The National Weather Service in Gaylord has issued a lake effect Snow Advisory... which is in effect until 10 am EST Friday.
Lake effect snow showers will from central Upper Michigan and into western Chippewa and Mackinac counties through the evening. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches are expected overnight with locally higher amounts possible... mainly west of a line from Brevort to Brimley.
