Now
A weak cold front currently extending from near Glenrio...to Borger...to Liberal will sag slowly to the south this evening. Isolated showers and thunderstorms along and ahead of this front will continue through the evening hours before dissipating with the loss of daytime heating. Through 830 PM...the strongest thunderstorms will occur in Carson County...impacting the communities of Panhandle and White Deer. Additional showers will continue across western Deaf Smith County. The stronger storms will produce very heavy downpours and dangerous cloud to ground lightning. Rainfall amounts in western Deaf Smith County will generally remain less than 1/4 of an inch while rainfall amounts in Carson County may exceed 1 to 2 inches in localized areas. These thunderstorms are moving to the southwest at around 10 mph.
