This flock of birds hangs out with our horses in the pasture. They either sit on the horses, or walk alongside in the grass eating bugs as the horses kick them up. On hot days, the bunch of birds walk along in the horse's shadow! It took quite a few tries to get a decent photo.

Does anyone have any idea what kind of birds these might be? They behave a little like Blackbirds or Starlings, but are a more dull brown color with a little bit of variation on the wings. They are slightly bigger than most blackbirds. I don't know my bird varieties very well.

I enjoyed seeing them out there on the hillside - sorta reminds me of Snoopy and all his bird-friends in the Charles Shultz Peanuts cartoons ;-)
