Man, has it been warm the past several days. We've had nearly a week of temps in the mid to upper 70s- some 10 to 15 degrees above where we should be this time of year. For example, Sunday's high was 77 degrees, yesterday it was 78, and today's high was 76. Starting tomorrow, temps should cool to the mid 60s. That's still above normal, but not as bad as what we've seen. Chico usually sees temps around 61-62 degrees for mid to late November. No rain is on the horizon until at least the middle of next week; I'll keep my fingers crossed. Here's the latest forecast for Chico and environs from the National Weather Service:

Tonight: Patchy fog after 10pm. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 40. Light and variable wind.

Wednesday: Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 66. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 43. East southeast wind around 6 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 64. South southeast wind between 8 and 10 mph.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 44. East southeast wind around 7 mph.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 65.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 41.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 64.
