Thank everyone for remembering my birthday! :) That is so sweet of y'all. I'm 28 years young today... that's right- staring down the barrel of 30 *horror!*

We have definitely been staying busy. CJ decided to start walking on the 4th of July. As I expected, there was no try- there was just DO. She up and took off. No practice steps, no hesitation. Just pulled up and started walking lol. She's so much like me- just waits until she's sure THEN goes for it. Here's some pictures..

Right after the 4th I had surgery on my thumb. I'm double jointed and the joint had become so unstable (and had the beginnings of arthritis already) that the dr said fusing the joint was the best option. So now I only have ONE trick thumb left *devastated* When I saw the x-ray I almost flipped! What I thought was a pin was really a deck screw!!! (See for yourself)



No wonder it hurt so bad that first week! lol

Here's the aftermath- 1 week post-op (they also did Carpal Tunnel surgery "since they were there")


And here's what I'm stuck in until next Tuesday at 11:15am (but who's countin' right?)



So between the toddler that finally decided to toddle THREE days before my RIGHT hand was incapacitated... I've been BUSY.
