Now into third week. Getting a bit restless. Trying to stay busy, but it's a bitch.

Hey gang. I thought I'd pop in real quick to say "jello" and that all is going well, considering......

Job search is slow. I've sent out several resumes to both big and small companies. I have maybe two good leads, but I am cool with it all. It has only been a week and a half since I was laid off, so I can't get too antsy:-)

I took a break today from the laborious web job searches to plant some Snapdragons in the front yard, compost, mulch, put some stones down around the trees and the flowers... And, I just finished cleaning out half of the garage, with part deux coming tomorrow. So, I am staying busy.

***Quick note***

With the 2008 hurricane season all but over at this point, I will not be on WU much. As you all know, I live for hurricanes and tropical weather. Well, I don't "literally" live for it, but I digress.... Winter weather bores the socks off of me (sorry if I offend you winter weather lovers) so other than the occasional blog, I will be in hibernation as it were... Don't worry. I'll still be around here for a few more weeks before I take my hiatus. Just wanted to mention it.
