==Discussion==
a low pressure system currently over the Gulf of St Lawrence will
move across the great Northern Peninsula this evening. The system
will bring total snowfall accumulations of 15 to 20 centimetres to
northern regions before the snow tapers off overnight.
Strong southwesterly winds with gusts to 100 km/h will develop early
this evening along the southwest and west coasts of Newfoundland as
the low passes. These winds are expected to diminish near midnight.
Please refer to the latest public forecasts for further details.
