Locally heavy rain today with additional accumulations of up to
10 mm expected.

Wind chill warning for:
b.C. Peace River.
Brisk winds combined with cold temperatures are producing
extreme wind chills near minus 40. This is a warning that
extreme wind chill conditions are expected or occurring in

Snow has eased. Significant additional amounts are not

==Discussion==
a slow moving Pacific frontal system will continue to track eastwards
through southern British Columbia today.
Through the kootenays rain at times heavy is occurring in a few
locales. Additional rainfall amounts of up to 10 mm are expected
today. Rain is forecast to ease to a few showers this afternoon.
Brisk northerly winds combined with cold temperatures will continue
to give extreme wind chills of near minus 40 to the b.C.
Peace country region today. The extreme wind chills are expected to
end later today as temperatures rise.
